This group of 5th graders monitor the halls every morning and afternoon and greet their peers with reminders of the importance of safely walking in the halls and our KES Expectations. | Yearbook Sales!This year's yearbook sales are underway already! | KES Polar Bear Plunge Team!!Once again Kennard Elementary School is participating in the Cool Schools Polar Bear Plunge. You will be able to "Plunge" in person OR virtually. Plunging at Sandy Point will be held Thursday, March 24th, 2022. Visit the Cool Schools Plunge web page and be sure to select Kennard Elementary as your team to register or donate. We now have at least one student from each grade level that has signed up to Plunge. In the past, KES has been in the Top 10 for fundraising and the ONLY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL participating. This year's yearbook sales are underway already! We have captured some amazing shots of our students and cannot wait to transform them into published memories!
- Besides sending a check in to school, you will be able to pre-order your books two additional ways:
- (1) online to:yearbookordercenter.com Enter code 24796. The price for each yearbook is $15.00. This is directly through the Yearbook company.
- (2) online to: qacps.schoolcashonline.com and register your student! The yearbook item is attached for purchase at this time. This is Kennard Elementary's private purchasing account for items we can post for a more convenient option.

Summer Band Camp! Attention Band Members! Centreville Middle School will be offering a summer band camp this Summer, July 6th-28th on Wednesdays and Thursdays. (Time to be determined). $45.00 per student. This will be open to this year's incoming 5th graders through 8th graders currently at CMS. Beginners are welcome! KES Library Fundraiser Please see informational link below for an amazing opportunity to support our amazing Media projects your students are doing! | PFY Afterschool Spring Session PFY afterschool program began this week! It will be a 12 week session, 3 days per week from 3:45pm-6:00pm. Registration packets are available in the office and was sent out in a school messenger for you as well. Please feel free to contact Brenda Spence at 410-758-1166 with any questions! We still have room in the following activities: Tuesdays: Tricky Trivia! & Volleyball Volume! Wednesdays: Play of the Day & Figure it Out! Thursdays: Drawing with Friends , Chess & Snowball Fitness Games | Hoops for Hearts Week! Our students are participating in our annual Hoops for Heart event during their scheduled PE times this week!
