A Message From Our Principal
Greetings!
Finally this year has come to an end! Students have worked hard this year. Most likely harder than they ever have before! These past few days were marked with saying goodbyes, signing yearbooks, returning books and Chromebook and just putting things in order to end the year.
Big thanks to all our teachers for giving your students opportunities that they will cherish and education that will move them towards great things. Our teachers are the best and they rose to the challenge and went above and beyond to engage and educate during this pandemic. Students were great as well! Once they got the hang of it, they persevered through the past 16 months and endured many things. Those who returned to school got comfortable in masks and shields and I am so proud of them for following directives and pursuing in person learning. Some remained virtual and learned to navigate with great success. I look forward to seeing all of the students back at school in September!
We have been collecting books and Chromebooks. If you have not returned a Chromebook you may do so on June 17 &18, at the entrance to the high school cafeteria from 8:00 am to 3:00pm
Shout out to Mr. Tinsley and Mr. Milnes for the great performances of their students this past Friday, as the jazz band performed and the chorus. Students had a blast and it was great to see them in their own element!
On Monday 6/14, Seniors enjoyed a day of fun with senior olympics and their senior picnic. Special thanks to Mr. Migliore, the senior class advisor and the project graduation committee of parents who made the day special for our seniors. The next day, the real practice started and they lined up, learned where they needed to be, and understood the expectations to walk in graduation. They were wonderful. All the hard work and practice was evident in the beautiful Graduation Ceremony that is the best in the county!
As we break for the summer, our High School building is open, feel free to call guidance or CST as needed. Our hours until the end of June are 8-4. Starting July until last week of August the High School Hours are:
Monday - Wednesday 7:00 am to 5pm
Thursdays 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Please see the Athletic webpage for summer camps and athletic practices.
Congratulations goes out to the class of 2021! May you always make a name for yourself! Follow your road to a successful future. Best of luck to all of you!
Until September, have an awesome summer! Stay safe, be well, continue to dream of the possibilities ahead of us, be happy and smile at someone!
Ms.Connor

Senior Olympics and Senior Picnic
On Monday seniors participated in the annual Senior Olympics and the Senior Picnic. This year we were able to partner with Project Grad to bring in numerous outside vendors to make it especially memorable. Pirate Pete’s gave the students all different kinds of soda; R2C2 brought in a portable race track; a dunk tank allowed the kids to dunk some of their favorite teachers. Students also received a “swag bag” that included a commemorative class of 2021 mug. The Olympics saw senior English go head to head in different types of relay races and tug-of-war.
Special thanks to all of the graduation committee. Senior Olympics and Senior Picnic would not happen without you.
