What's Happening in PBS?
Week of 4/6-4/10
For this week in class, we will be continuing on with our dicussion of the heart. Monday we will be going over another medical history and recapping over cholesterol. Tuesday they will do a lab that simulates how the heart pumps blood. On wednesday and thursday they will be building models that show how medical professionals intervene when someone has blockages in their coronary arteries. We will finish out the week on friday with going over another autopsy report, updating the evidence board and recapping Unit 4 thus far.
I will be talking to the kids tomorrow, but just so you are in the loop as well - I am starting to see a mid-second semester drop in motivation. When grading assignments, I have noticed an increase in zeros and lack of motivation to use classtime to work and prioritize their work. Now is not the time to drop off, its crunch time before they take the EOC coming up in a few weeks. The end of the year will be here before we know it and so every point/assignment/oppertunity to re-earn points will be critical.
As for HOSA this week...
- Wednesday - Professional Dress Day
- Thursday - Guest Speaker - Pharmaceutical Sales
- Saturday - Harvesters Visit
Have a good week!
