Tweens & Teens
A New School Year
Staying Connected
Hello, my lovely Tweens & Teens! I was just wanting to know how everyone is doing and how the new school year is going. I would also like to encourage each one of you about the importance of staying connected. I know how busy our schedules get and sometimes we forget. I will plan events so we can still meet and hopefully the scheduling does not conflict with previous plans.
I do hope that we are making good choices while at home and school or wherever we may go.
Remember you are worth more than GOLD!
Events Around the Way
On October 5, 2013, Kansas State University is hosting a workshop for girls in the grades 6-8 who are interested in engineering and science. The program is called GROW (Girls Researching Our World). The all day workshop is $20. I am adding the information link to the registration pamphlet. If you are interested talk to your parents and let me know, I plan on going.

Encouraging Word
James 1:22 (NIV)
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
