FIELD DAY SPECIAL TREAT
For Students: They will grill the hamburgers and hot dogs that are provided by the cafeteria. These hot dogs and hamburgers will be available on the regular serving line. The teachers will have the option of eating outside, in their classrooms, or in the cafeteria that day. If you do not want your child to eat a grilled hamburger or hot dog, please notify your child's teacher on or before May 8. We will have non-grilled hamburgers and hot dogs available.
For Parents: As always, we will make sure we take care of you! Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase from the All Pro Dads. There will also be food available in the cafeteria. The proceeds from the All Pro Dads sales will be donated to the school to fund ongoing programs for the students.

Partee 2018-2019 Year Book
Yearbooks will be available in mid-May. A few extra copies have been ordered and will go on sale on a first come, first served basis. Look for more information in the weeks to come.
From the Clinic
For students with medicine in the school clinic, it is a GCPS policy that "Students are not allowed to transport medication." Therefore we need parents to stop by the clinic and pick up any unused medication by the last day of school. Medications will be disposed of by May 23, 2019.
Food Allergy in Children
When your child has a food allergy, his or her body thinks that those foods are trying to do harm. It fights back by setting off an allergic reaction. A mild reaction may include a few raised, red, itchy patches of skin (called hives). A severe reaction may cause hives all over, swelling in the throat, trouble breathing, nausea or vomiting, or fainting. This is called anaphylaxis (say "ANN-uh-fuh-LAK-suss"). It can be deadly.
A good way to prevent your child's allergic reaction is to avoid the foods that cause it. An allergy doctor or a dietitian may be able to help you understand which foods will be okay and what to avoid. Also, make sure to inform your child's teachers and caregivers about your child’s food allergies, and provide them with medication.
