#SWedesreads
2020-2021 School Year
What is #SWedesreads?
We want kids to WANT to read! Not only because the more you read then the more you know, (that is a fact), but because reading truly can unlock doorways into finding topics you enjoy and interests you may not even know you had. Please help us by encouraging students to take pictures of any reading they do outside of school and ask their families to post on appropriate social media sites using #SWedesreads.
Presenting This Month's Reader....
Mrs. Heather Dougherty, one of our 4th Grade ELA Teachers is sharing her love of reading again. For this edition, she has chosen to read the book, "A Fish Out of Water" by Helen Palmer. In this beloved Beginner Book, a young boy hilariously learns the consequences of not following instructions when he feeds too much to his goldfish—causing it to grow as big as a whale! With delightfully retro illustrations by P.D. Eastman (Go, Dog. Go!),
