A Note From the Director

Thank you for a great first two days! It was wonderful to see all the smiling faces and hear the laughter back in the building.

If you are a Raccoon, Bee, Otter, or Owl, please remember to send the provided ECDC TOTE BAG each day. This is the only bag students need to bring to school and it should hold everything necessary for the day (lunch, water bottle, change of clothes, and snuggles).

We will NOT host a parent Back to School night at ECDC this year since we did scheduled Meet the Teacher visits. Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for September 30th and October 1st. If you have questions or concerns before conferences, feel free to reach out to your child's teacher.

Marquette and ECDC have updated all email addresses to a new format. All staff now use the format, first initial and last name (example pmcgough@marquetteschool.org). If you have any questions about reaching out to a faculty member, please let us know.

Each class at ECDC has their own private Facebook page. Please contact your child's teacher for directions if necessary. This is where teachers will post photos/videos of your child's day as well as calendars, reminders, etc. If you do not use Facebook, please coordinate alternate communication with the teacher.

The first annual MHSA meeting is next Monday at 8:00 am in Fletcher Hall. MHSA stands for Marquette Home and School Association. The purpose of the Marquette Home and School Association is to support the students, faculty, and staff through programs and activities that bring parents and children together. MHSA Committees oversee the Marquette Auction, Homeroom Parents, Teacher Appreciation, Trunk or Treat, Field Day, Spirit Store, and much more within the community. Monthly meetings are held in Fletcher Hall (located in the Marquette School building) at 8:00 am and are open to all parents.
