Who loves playing games?!?
Whether it's board games, card games, game console games, sporting events, or even computer games, almost all games are filled with math. Our math curriculum, Investigations, is game and exploratory based filled with rich discussions facilitated by our teachers incorporating numbers, data, and space.
Family Task and Discussion: Play a game with your family this week and pay closer attention to how math is used during the game. Ask questions such as:
- How many more spaces do you need?
- How much money did you spend on the supplies?
- How many more points are needed for the teams to tie? What about for the team to win?
Watch for the Facebook post on Wednesday to share your discussions!

Who Let The Dogs In?!
Both Ms. Aviola and Officer Lisa (and their dogs) have gone through extensive training and certification to have their dogs work with our students.
Below you will find some information about our therapy dogs, as well as links to an opt out form if you would not like for your child to come in contact with the dogs. Hard copies were also sent home at the beginning of the year. Feel free to call Ms. Aviola if you have any questions!

If your child has been or is going to be absent for an upcoming appointment or any other reason, you can submit that information by clicking the button above.

Breakfast and Lunch are provided FREE OF CHARGE for all students!
Be mindful that even if your child brings breakfast and/or lunch with them, we CANNOT DENY students access to the meals that we have in school, so if you do not want them to eat a school breakfast/lunch or have concerns about the possibility of them eating a double lunch (the one that bring from home and what we offer in school) and ending up with a tummy ache, please have that conversation with your scholar. :-)

It's never too late to register for school!!!
