Skype Author Visit
Save the date! Tuesday, May 19th we will be hosting a Skype event for AHS students with local teen author, Maya Van Wagenen, co-sponsored by the Albany Public Library. Maya wrote the memoir, Popular chronicling her unique social experiment. She spent a school year following a 1950s popularity guide found at a thrift store, written by former teen model, Betty Cornell. This event will be held in the UN Room at Albany High School from 1:30-3:00 pm. AHS students register here: bitly.com/popularevent
