KUDOS
Kudos to Jennifer Phillips for giving me an abundance of grace and patience during wedding season, and for being such an incredible teammate to work with. I would not have made it through these last few months without you and your constant support. The way you so deeply love and support our students inspires me! It is truly such a blessing to work with you. Thank you for all that you do for me and for our kids!
Kudos to Alicia Estrada for keeping me sane and for always having my back. I don't know where I would be without you and your support. I am SO thankful I am to have you!!! Thank you for all that you do, and for all of your hard work for our kids!

Kudos to Mr. Wolbruek for stepping to teach without hesitation when I need to handle a behavior issue. Teamwork makes the dream work!!!
Kudos to Ms. Tucker for the great lesson about Banned Books. The students loved it and it sparked their interest for reading!!!
Kudos to all the teachers and students that put together a great program to honor National Hispanic Heritage Month. I really enjoyed it!
- Amanda Painter
Kudos to Karina Adams for spearheading Chalk Walk with Art Club. They represented Hernandez MS very well!
- Cristy Crowder
Kudos to Mrs. Sarre for observing my toughest class period on her off period and giving me great advice for strategies to try!
- Jessica Streu
Kudos to Mrs. Donosso for staying calm, cool, and collected while helping me deescalate a situation with one of my students Wednesday in the front office!
- Ms. Campos
Kudos to Mr. Kino for helping us out with a picture for the white board in front of the library. The ghost he drew (reading a book, no less) is worthy of a Ghostbusters promo poster - check it out!

Dear Hernandez Middle School, My parents met and married in 2 weeks and 9 hours. I ran a 10 minute mile for the first time since high school recently. I preach weddings if anybody is looking for an officiant. My last dog had three legs and her name was Roxanne. I like Mac and Cheese out of the box only. I don't like video games.
