Vivaldi's Early Life
Antonio Vivaldi was Born in Venice Italy, on March 4th, 1678. Vivaldi was born into quite a large family, he had four brothers and four sisters. He studied to be a priest and was later called "the red priest", due to his bright red hair. He became a priest at the age of 15, but it was short-lived, because he'd only said mass a couple times. His father, Giovanni Batista, was a music teacher and taught Vivaldi how to play the violin. Vivaldi was very skilled at playing the violin, he learned to appreciate and love music at a very young age. Unfortunately , Antonio was diagnosed with Asthma, or as they called it in his time, "tightening of the chest". So overall Vivaldi had some-what of a normal childhood, with ups and downs to it. But every aspect of his childhood played a large role in his unforgettable legacy.
