Skyview Upper Elementary School

6th Grade Naviance Lessons

Mrs. VanBuren, Skyview 6th grade counselor, will be introducing Naviance to all sixth grade students during the week of Jan. 6. Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness platform that enables self-discovery, career exploration, academic planning, and college preparation for students. Students will continue using Naviance in Arcola and throughout their high school years.

6th grade Math Placement Testing

All 6th graders will participate in upcoming math placement testing including the Iowa and Orleans Hanna assessments. These tests are a part of the rubric communicated regarding 7th grade course placement (click here for 7th grade course information.)
