We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Father Doyle Families,
The end of the 2021-2022 school year is quickly approaching! Please be sure to carefully review the end of year events and calendar reminders below as we finish out the last few weeks of school.
While the year is coming to a close, there is still much to celebrate! This week at Father Doyle School:
- Students participated in the Diocesan Festival of the Arts with both a performance piece and visual arts. See below for photos!
- Our junior soccer team secured a victory in their final game of the regular season, qualifying them for the Catholic Athletic League playoffs starting next week!
- We celebrated "Friday Fun-Day" (previously known as Thankful Thursday) in celebration of our successful 2022 Read-a-thon, which surpassed its goal in support of enhancing our reading and language arts curricula and programs. Thank you for your generosity!
- Students are doing incredible work in our classrooms including, but not limited to middle schoolers working on their cross-curricular Capstone project (photos below!), 4th grades creating Coats of Arms for the Kingdom of God in Religion class (photos below!), and 1st grade studying the life cycle of the praying mantis by watching it unfold in class!
Again, please be sure to carefully review the upcoming events and other information included below:

Uniform Ordering - Participate in Bulk Ordering!
We're pleased to launch our new Uniform Purchasing Program for the 2022-2023 school year, which can be found at the link here: http://fjvduniforms.square.site. In order to address challenges with ordering this past year, we are moving to a bulk ordering system with Donnelly’s for the 2022-2023 school year. Utilizing the link above, families can place orders for Donnelly's uniforms which will then be shipped directly to the school for pick-up. Please note, in order to maintain bulk ordering, orders will be placed with Donnelly's on the 4th of every month. Orders placed after the 4th will be placed in the following month's order.

Aluminum Can Tab Collection
What: Aluminum can tabs are being collected
Why: To support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence
How can you help? Save can tabs and send them in to Mr. Godin’s room.
Bottle Cap Drive
We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This provides new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students. The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply send in bottle caps or product codes from boxes of beverages and our school receives a donation.
All caps and codes should be sent to Mr. Godin. Codes will be entered on one account to gain larger and quicker donations.
Thank you!
