From the Desk of Mrs. Eske:

First off, I want to wish all of our fourth grade families a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I hope that you have an opportunity to cherish every moment with your friends and family, eats lots, and lots, and lots of yummy food (without getting too stuffed :), and...give thanks for all of the awesome blessings in your life!!! I am truly blessed to be your child's teacher and I am SO incredibly proud of how much progress we have made as a team since the beginning of the year!!! I give thanks for all of the blessings in my life and once again...from my family to yours...HAPPPPPY TURKEY DAY!!

And it's a Wrap!

This week we continued working on fluency and expression in small groups, when doing Reader's Theater plays. In whole group reading, we read the books, Sarah Mortan and Samuel Eaton, to compare and contrast what life was like as a pilgrim girl, compared to that of a pilgrim boy! We also practiced rounding to estimate problems in math by playing the game...The Rule is..., in addition to that, for Content...we explored the Scholastic Interactive Website: The First Thanksgiving...to learn more about what life was like on Plimoth Plantation! We even took a virtual field trip.
