We are So Proud of Our Music Programs
Exploring the Three Areas of Music Literacy
Music literacy is a vital skill that encompasses several areas. The first area is the ability to hear and predict what comes next in a musical piece. This skill can be honed through ear training, which involves analyzing various musical elements such as melody, harmony, and rhythm. The second area is the ability to read music, which means understanding written music and using this knowledge to play an instrument or sing. Finally, the third area is the ability to discuss and describe musical terms and history, which helps one appreciate and understand the art of music. Being music literate opens up a world of possibilities and enriches one's life in countless ways.

Mrs. Eskridge's Musical Impact on Confidence and Well-Being
The sense of fun that comes with singing and bells in a group is truly unmatched, and it's clear that Mrs. Eskridge understands this better than anyone. Thanks to her guidance and encouragement, countless individuals have been able to unlock their full potential as singers and performers. Her dedication to the art of choir singing and bells is truly inspiring, and CCUSD feels grateful to have the opportunity to learn from her.
Thank you, Mrs. Eskridge, for all that you do in helping boost students' self-confidence, mood, and overall well-being.

Meal Applications
We need your help in submitting Free and Reduced Lunch Meal Applications
In order to support future funding for our district, we are asking all Farragut families to submit the Free and Reduced Lunch Meal Application.
Why is this important:
By submitting an application it can help your school with much funding for the classrooms.
If their student(s) qualify for Free or Reduced Price Meals, the household may be eligible to receive discounts on their utilities and internet services.
Their students will receive discount pricing for tests, such as ACT and SAT exams.
Increased participation in the Meal Application form district wide helps with additional, much needed funds.
