Joan was believed to be able to talk to God and Jesus.

Joan was put to death because of being able to talk to God.

Importance
Joan of Arc was important to the french army because she was put in charge, she is the youngest person to have been put into command. She turned a whole war around in only a couple of months, France was almost put into misery, but Joan led them to victory.
King John

He created an extreme tax to tax the poor, he lost land and tried to reclaim it by taxing the poor. He is known as Bad King John, he was famous and still is today..
William the Conqueror

Nickname: William the Bastard Lifespan: 1028 - 1087 Ruled as King of England: 1066 - 1087 his date of birth is unknown, he is said to be born around 1028 c.
Importance
He established something known a feudalism- the system of political organization prevailing in Europe from the 9th to about the 15th centuries having as its basis the relation of lord to vassal with all land held in fee and as chief characteristics homage, the service of tenants under arms and in court, wardship, and forfeiture (definiton came from dictionary web site http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/feudalism) he was famous for this.
