Welcome to the 2nd Quarter!

It's hard to believe we are 1 quarter done with school! Wow. It has been a great start. We are working hard to teach your children grade level curriculum at every age. This includes both their standard curriculum and their interventions or extra work to help them stretch and improve their understanding

PBIS

K-8 students are all included

PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Support) is back this quarter and stronger than ever before. Each of our scholars will have opportunities to earn tickets from the adults around them for appropriate school behavior and helping without being asked. Some rewards will include parties, dances, and food items!
Big picture

Kindergarten

Ms. Frahm's kindergarten class joined Stephen Curry read his book, virtually, to our class! Ms. Frahm continues to bring students positive experiences. This book is about determination and goal setting. Both of these are important for children and adults to be successful and happy.

FLC Curriculum

Our 4th through 7th grade students will participate in TUSD's Family Life Curriculum from October 17th through October 28th. We are excited to announce a PBIS event on the 28th that will have them celebrate their successes!

Parent/Teacher Conferences & Title 1 Presentation

Last month we had a very successful parent/teacher conference time. We were able to meet with parents individually, share successes and support, and even give away a computer. To be in the drawing you had to have a parent come to conferences, The winner of the drawing was a 2nd grader. He was so excited! And, honestly, so were we!

During this time we also went over our Title 1 Budget and Needs. We continue to try to support learning at every level as a first priority.
