ADHD Article from Laura Nichols

I found this article online (as an "ADHD mom"), and thought I'd share it with you all. Students with ADD and ADHD can be so frustrating to all of us. My hope is these reminders will help us keep things in perspective. Please read if it is of interest to you (it's quick reading), and please disregard if not.

Veterans Day 2014

Today, in your mailboxes you will have found stickers with the names of West Hartford Veterans. These are to be handed out tomorrow prior to our Veterans Day Ceremony tomorrow. Each student and staff will be wearing a sticker (if they so desire).

At 8:00AM, you will hear Reveille played over the PA system. At that time, please lead your students out the front doors to the front circle.

At 8:05AM, we will raise the flag to the playing of the Star Spangled Banner followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence. Speeches will commence immediately after. At the conclusion of the ceremony students will return in silence into the building and follow the schedule.
