Teacher Appreciation Night at the Barnstormers

Update:Sign up on Ms. Schofield's Board if you are going to the Barnstormer's game. I want to be sure we are all sitting together.

The Barnstormers are offering discounted tickets for teachers, family and friends of teachers. And a contest. I don't know if you know this about me but I'm a little competitive. Let's go out and have some fun and win the contest. Its a win-win.

You can order tickets at this link. Please be sure to put that you want to sit with the Hanawalt Group. One because that is the direction but two because Hawks are the most fun!

Teacher Appreciation Night on June 4th

CONTEST: Which ever school has the best attendance (most teachers in attendance for the June 4th game) for the game will win free tickets for each teacher at that school to our June 25th Season Finale! Discounted tickets will be available for additional family members & friends who would like to attend the June 25th game as well! Let's Pack Wells Fargo Arena and have a great night!

Room Assignments for 2016-2017

Here are the room assignments for next year. You will have information in your End of Year Check list with moving instructions. We will not start moving anything yet, but if you are moving classrooms you can start going through things and getting ready for your move. A great deal of thought and considerations went into these moves.

The number of scores entered into Infinite Campus for the Literacy Writing Posttest 15-16 (Grades 3-5) and the Writing End of Year (Grades 1-2) tests has been decreased. You will no longer enter the scores for the individual components (Conventions, Ideas, etc). Instead you will add up the points on each component and enter the total points. Enter the raw score for the math and literacy tests and not the percent. Please refer to the

Benifitfocus

It’s that time of year when you can update your benefits by changing health insurance plans, add or remove dependents, and enroll in the Medical Flex plan! All changes must be made using the Benefitfocus site which is located under the Staff Tab on the District website. Changes will be effective July 1, 2016. I would advise ALL employees to go to the Benefitfocus site and review your current benefits and covered dependents. This year, if you do NOT want to make any changes to your benefits or you do NOT want to enroll in the Medical Flex plan, you do not/ need to do anything further at this time. If you do access the Benefitfocus site to review your benefits between May 2 and May 31, you can use this as an EDU activity for the Healthy U Wellness Program.
