Note from Mrs. Shimek
Fall Family Conferences are next week! Check out the flyer of when conferences are. Can't make it November 2nd? Please click picture to schedule a different time when they are available.
Can you help? We love to stock the fridge and staff workroom for teachers during Family Conferences. Teachers are at school for a long time Wednesday without time for a meal! Some favorites:
- veggies
- cheese & crackers
- breads and dips
- chips, salsa, and hummus
- bottled coffees and teas
- canned sparkling waters
Any donations can be dropped off at the Office for delivery to the lounge before conferences on Wednesday. Thank you!
Friendly Reminder: students do not have school Tuesday November 1st.
Have a great weekend!

Basketball
MS and HS basketball needs your help! Can you volunteer to take tickets for an hour at a MS or HS basketball game this fall/winter? Your volunteer time will generate a donation from SBPS to Sports Boosters. You will also receive a free item from concessions and free entry into the next game! Link is below.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
STUDENT ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL EVENTS
The school encourages students to attend as many school events held after school as possible, without interfering with their school work and home activities. Enthusiastic spectators help to build school spirit and encourage those students who are participating in the event.
However, in order to ensure that students attending evening events as nonparticipants are properly safe-guarded, it is strongly advised that all students be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone when they attend the event. Students under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone to attend school events. The School will not be able to supervise unaccompanied students nor will it be responsible for students who arrive without an adult chaperone.
The school will continue to provide adequate supervision for all students who are participants in a School activity. Students must comply with the Code of Conduct at school events, regardless of the location.
