Terminal Park Elementary - Returning to school - Hybrid Learning Handbook
Starting March 3rd, grades K-2 will shift to a Hybrid learning model. On March 15, grades 3-5 will also shift.
- OL students will be staying online for the remainder of the year. Most students have stayed with their previous teacher. There are a few exceptions for those who had teachers who are now teaching all in-person.
- OL students are working online for a half day of learning with their teacher.
- OL students have asynchronous work, Specialists, and Walk To Read times when they are not with their core teacher.
- Hybrid students are coming on site for a half day of learning in person with a teacher.
- Our priority is to have students remain with their same teacher, but some conflicts could not be avoided, and some students do have a new teacher. Siblings and bus riders were factors in placing students in Hybrid learning.
- Hybrid students/families are required to complete a student wellness screener before the student leaves home each day. This screener is in Skyward and must be completed for a student to access their classroom. Directions can be found on the Terminal Park Elementary main website.
- Hybrid students are required to wear an approved mask, maintain social distance, and practice good hygiene while on site.
- Hybrid students have asynchronous work, Specialists, and Walk To Read times when they are not with their core teacher on site.
- This program remains the same.
Monday will continue to be an asynchronous day for all students.
