Principal's Message
Hello Wildcat families,
If you've ever had a conversation with me about school, you have likely heard me talk about the importance of the home and school connection. I believe strongly in the value of parents and teachers partnering together to help grow our kids into the best possible people they can be. This encompasses academics as well as students' social and emotional health.
I recently ran across the article below. It talks about 7 skills that distinguish successful students from those who struggle. At school, we regularly teach these skills to all our students by noticing and commenting on the things they do well, by teaching our Student Success Skills lessons to help students identify emotions and find appropriate ways to express them, and by encouraging students that with practice, they can get better at so many things.
Take a look here to find out how you can reinforce these lessons at home. We are truly better together!
All the best,
Stephanie Haga

Childcare during Curriculum Night
The PTO is offering childcare from the Northview High School Beta Club for Curriculum Night. The cost is $10 per child - accepting cash or charge upon arrival.
