Movie:When Duke is talking to Sebastian about finding the perfect girl and how he love Viola. Duke is talking to Sebastian about how he is in love with Viola and is unaware that he is actually talking to Viola.

Play: Orsino tells Cesario that girls hearts are not as big as guys hearts. this can tie back to the gender argument.

Comedy of Manners

Movie:When Principal Gold is talking to Sebastian about premature baldness. Principal Gold is basically insulting Sebastian by saying he knows about the premature baldness.

Play: When Malvolio is reading the fake love letter. This can be portrayed as an insult.

Farce

Movie: When the tampons fall out of Viola's boot and she has to come up with an explanation on why she has them. This is a mistiming and he has to come up with a crazy story.

Play: When Viola dresses up as Cesario. This is a mistaken Identity because they all think that she is a guy.

Low Comedy

Movie: Malcolm had a stuffed pillow with Olivia's face on it and would cuddle with it. Malcolm is obsessing over a girl that he probably has no chance with.

Play: Sir Toby and Sir Andrew are making fun of Cesario. they are calling him a young and it it is taken wrong.

In both The Twelfth Night and She's the Man Viola goes in to disguise as a man to do something. In She's the Man it is for soccer. In the Twelfth Night it is to get close to a guy that she likes.
