Hour of Code

All students will be participating in computer coding during their library visit (Friday, Dec. 4- Dec. 11). Any permission forms for the after school Coding Club should be turned in to me by Friday morning! Let me know if you want to help or want ideas to implement in your classroom.

Got eBooks? There are over a hundred titles available as eBooks. Tumblebooks and Capstone Interactive have Read-To-Me options and both have chapter books as well as everybody books.

REMINDER: Bluebonnet Book Club will meet Dec. 7th & 14th and Jan. 4th & 11th!

Bluebonnet Voting & Party

It's almost here! Students (in grades 3rd-5th) who have read 5 or more Bluebonnet book nominees will be voting for their choice to win the Bluebonnet Award. Voting will take place the last week of January (more details to come later). The voting party will take place Monday of that week- January 25th- after school. I will send home permission slips with students who are invited after the break. Keep encouraging your students to READ! They have until January 22nd to qualify for the party and voting. Here's a look at the qualifiers so far:
