Little Rockets News!
Dear Families,
This week, our 4K students will go over literacy skills with their classroom teacher in a one-on-one setting for the state-wide PALS screener. Results of the screener get reported to our district to measure growth of our 4K students. You will receive information from your child's teacher, regarding your child's results, as part of the 4th quarter progress reports.
Tuesday, May 9th is National Teacher Appreciation Day! Please consider having your child write a special thank you card for his/her Teacher and Educational Assistant.
The last day for LIBRARY classes for the school year is this Friday. All library books must be returned this week.
Have a wonderful week!
Ms. Stacie Brethouwer Nelson, Principal

Teacher Appreciation
I am amazed with the energy, love, and positive attitude that our staff arrives with each and every day, even when I know they are feeling tired from all of the expectations and hard work they face to have your child's classroom and day filled with fun and excitement.
Although a challenging job, I know each and every one of them loves what they do and would choose nothing else except teaching! It is a very rewarding career and I am very thankful to have each of them as part of our wonderful school!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all you do!
