An ADVANCED workshop on coexisting disorders
This workshop is designed for professionals, paraprofessionals, and family members who already have extensive knowledge of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). This workshop will provide an overview of recent research about the overlap of ASD with other disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, nonverbal learning disability, anxiety, and mood disorders. The bulk of the presentation will focus on evidence-based approaches to the complex profiles of individuals with “autism plus ___.”

Outcomes:
As a result of attending, participants will:
Identify and describe the co-existing conditions that are most common in children and adolescents with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorders.
Describe a systematic approach to understanding the cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral challenges of individuals with co-existing disorders.
Identify evidence-based educational, psychosocial, and behavioral interventions for co-existing challenges.
Meet the presenter: Teresa Bolick, PhD
Teresa Bolick, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and board certified behavior analyst, who consults with children, adolescents, families and schools throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
She is the author of Asperger Syndrome and Young Children: Building Skills for the Real World and Asperger Syndrome and Adolescence: Helping Preteens and Teens Get Ready for the Real World.
She presents frequently at conferences for family members, professionals and paraprofessionals.

No refunds will be given for requests received after 7 days before the event, or for "no shows". We do accept substitution of another person at our conference. 24 hours of notification is appreciated.
All received registrations are subject to Cancellation/Refund policy. Cost of registration fee is still liable whether payment is paid or unpaid, if no notice of cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to the event.
