BHS Library & Technology Tips
OCTOBER Newsletter - BHS LTAs
What is the role of a Library Technology Assistant?
If you are having an issue with your computer, you can bring it to the library. One of us will attempt to troubleshoot your issue, before getting the techs involved.
NOTE: If a student leaves his or her computer in your classroom, please bring it down to the BHS Library circulation desk ASAP. We will notify the student that we have his or her device.

Schoology Quizzes/Tests VideoGOOGLE DOCS vs. PRINTING
District 220 is moving towards One-to-One Technology, which will help us become paperless. Barrington220 Administration is asking teachers to limit requiring student to print out assignments. We have had many student come down to the library asking to print essays and assignments.
In lieu of printing, please consider using Google Docs to share, edit, and collaborate. Google Docs is a wonderful way for students and teachers to collaborate. Students can share their work with you and you are able to digitally comment on their work! Students get immediate feedback and are able to fix the errors on their document without using a single sheet of paper.
Here’s a link on how to comment and edit Google Docs for teachers: Link.
