Cheetah Wrap Up
Week of June 1, 2015
Last Full Week of School
This week flew by as students completed end of year assessments, presented final projects, and had end of year parties. The talk all week was about Field Day with students and parents concerned it would get rained out. Luckily we only had a light sprinkle in the morning and Field Day took place and the kids had a great time!

Staff vs. Student Flag Football Game
Field Day started with some football! Teachers and students had fun running the ball and scoring touchdowns!
Trike Race
The students raced each other on small tricycles generously donated to us by our preschool next door.
Potato Sack Race
Some old fashioned fun racing in potato sacks down and back up the field.
Egg On a Spoon Relay
Students had to carefully transport and egg up and down the field making a clean hand off to a team member.
Obstacle Course
Students weaved through cones, jumped over hurdles, jumped over noodles, threw a football through a hoop as they raced one another.
Tug-a-War
Class vs. class and girls vs. boys. The students showed their true competitive spirit in this classic age old game.
Water Balloon Fight
Students came dressed for battle as water balloon fights were a highlight of Field Day1
Slip and Slide
Students slid down the slip and slide under the spray from a water hose.
