Parent Teacher Conferences - Pick A Time is now open

Happy Saturday!! The weather is gorgeous!!

It is hard for me to believe that the third week of school is already over. I want to thank all of the families who could make it to Parent Information Night!! I will be sending home a paper copy of the Presentation next week to those families who were unable to attend.

We will be completing our Character Counts Unit in Social Studies next week!! Thank you so much for "studying" the packet with your child. It is fun to see how much our class has done around building a safe and vibrant Community for all in our room. It makes me proud. Watch for the "Code of Conduct" to come home next week. Please go over it with your child and help them make a plan on how they can follow it in school. Be sure to have all of you sign it and return it to school. My goal is for your child's wonderful "Character" to bubble over to all areas of their lives!!

Our Math and Language Arts blocks are really coming together. I have been able to collect some very beneficial data on each of your children in both subject areas. I am already using this data to inform my instruction. My goal is, that this instruction will help each of your children blossom and soar in their 4th Grade year.

Yesterday you were sent a district email that informed you that conference Pick A Time will open today. Please go online to Pick A Time at your earliest convenience to set up your conference. The sooner you do this the better chance you will have of getting a time that is best for you. The system is open from September 26th - October 5th.

I still have a few parents who have not replied to me telling me that you are receiving my emails. It is my responsibility to inform Mrs. Hytjan who is having difficulties receiving information via email. Thank you so much for helping me out with this matter.

Please follow the link below to register for your conference. See you in a few short weeks!!
