Digital vs Analog
By Alex Jurado
What makes something "Digital"
Examples of digital technology
What makes something "Analog"
Examples of analog technology
The differences between analog and digital.........
~analog information is translated into electric pulses of varying amplitude
~digital signals only have a specific amount of possibilities
~analog signals have an infinite amount of possibilities
The differences between analog technology and digital technology.....
~digital technology is translated into binary format (1's and 0's)
~analog memory is stored in the form of an wave signal
~digital technology is stored in the form of a binary bit
Why digital is the better option......
- digital technology has a specific set of possibilities; analog the possibilities are infinite
- most kids are use to the digital technology; analog is more appealing to the older audiences because they would be use to that kind of specific technology
- digital technology is free from error like parallax and approximation errors unlike analog technology which is more open to have errors
