Thomas Jefferson was born April 13, 1743, he died on July 4, 1826. He was a spoke man for democracy, was an American founding father, the principle author of the declaration of independence, and the third president of the united states. His education was the college of William and Mary. At one point Thomas Jefferson was a writer at another he was a rector at the university of Virginia. Thomas was married to Martha Whayles they had 6 kids, 5 boys and 1 girl. Only 2 of his children grew to adult hood the others died before they reached adult hood. Thomas Jefferson was most known for writing the declaration of Independence and being the 3rd president of the united states. Thomas Jefferson had a very strong belief on government he always said the saying " That government is best which governs least". Thomas Jefferson had one opponent that was John Adams he believed that government always needs to be the most powerful.
