The Colonial Regions

New England Colonial Region: The New England Colonial Region included the colonies of Connecticut, Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, Massachusetts, and Province of New Hampshire


Middle Colonial Region: The Middle Colonial Region included the colonies of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.


Southern Colonial Region: The Southern Colonial Region included the colonies of Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Jamestown

Jamestown is a fun, unique, and great place to visit. It was originally founded in 1607. It is located on the James River about 30 miles up the Atlantic Coast. Many Indians live near by and teach us great was to farm and hunt. Another great reason to visit Jamestown is because it was blessed by are very own King James I, the person it was named after.

Boston

Boston is a great place to visit in the Americas. It is the largest city in the New England Colonies! It is located at the mouth of Charles River on Massachusetts Bay. It also has a big harbor named Boston Harbor with many come and going ships!

James River

James River was the main source of water for Jamestown. It is the largest river in Virginia and it goes through the whole state. The river starts in the headwaters of the Cowpasture then flows through the Jackson RIver and then it ends in the Chesapeake Bay.
