Elsie Doling

PASSENGER'S PERSONAL INFORMATION
Elsie Doling was born on October 30, 1893. She was 18 when she was on the titanic. She was travelling with Ada Julia Elizabeth Doling her sister-in-law and with Henry Price Hodges. They all survive the disaster of the titanic.
THE SHIP
The ship was 269.1 meters in length and they called it unsinkable because it could still float with four compartments flooded. It was the biggest ship in that time. People said that the ship was marvelous. Elsie Doling was in class number 2 it cost E23. Her room was nice for the second class. It had a sink with a mirror. It had a couch, a bed, and i think some cabinets.
DISASTER AND RESCUE
The Titanic hit an iceberg at 11:40 pm on April 14, 1912 and sank at 2:20 am on April 15, 1912. Elsie Doling was saved by the Carpathia and went back to England.
LIFE AFTER THE TITANIC
Elsie went to New York City but before she did she went back to England and board on the Philadelphia. After the Titanic she married an Indian doctor named William St. Alban Hendricks and had four children John, Gerald St. Alban, Clara, and Elizabeth Mary. She died on March 3, 1972.
