Reminder for In-Person Students

If your student is signed up this semester to be an “in-person” learner, your student cannot choose to learn “online” due to convenience, illness, or weather unless the district determines that we all move to online learning for that day. Students will be counted absent and will need a parent call to excuse.

This should be done in the usual way through our attendance line at 633-6000. You may leave a message 24 hours a day and we ask that you give your student’s name, student ID number, and what grade they are in so we may update their attendance. Thank you!

Stilwell Spring Play Announcement

Hello! Hello! The Stilwell Spring Play 2021 is almost here! More information about this show will be dropping in the next few weeks, including information for auditions. What we can tell you now is that it will be a One Act, Comedy Play. We want to reach out to see who would be interested in participating in this year's show, whether that is in the Cast or the Crew!

Please fill out this form to let us know if you would be interested, so we can get an idea of the numbers. This may impact some decisions regarding multiple casts to ensure mitigation and safety are at the forefront of the production. Thanks! More info to come soon!

Have a Heart: Stilwell Yearbook Drive

Order a Stilwell yearbook for yourself and then donate a second yearbook! Give so that someone else, who may not be able to purchase one, can have a yearbook. All donations and orders of yearbooks can be submitted through the Stilwell office or through the student’s account. The cost of the yearbook is $30.00. Orders will be taken through Feb. 19th. Yearbooks will be handed out the last week of school.

Free Student Support Groups: Please Pass the Love

Completely FREE support groups led by licensed mental health professionals for middle & high school students and school staff. Hurry and register because groups fill up very quickly! CLICK HERE for the middle school sign-up.

What students have said about the support groups:

"I really liked getting to know all the different ways to handle stress because with covid and school and everything it can get pretty stressful so that was something that went well."

"It has made me realize that I am not alone in my suffering from anxiety. This group would really help some of the kids in my school, learn how to help their anxiety.:

"I would say again just this group has helped a lot with stress management and as student stress is a very real thing and that was a good thing to have knowledge on."

This week will be focusing on appropriate mask-wearing in the halls and classrooms. Please make sure to have both your nose and mouth covered. Teachers will be recognizing students with PBIS reward points.

After the Bell

After the bell is an additional opportunity at the end of the day to get support with learning from a certified teacher. It will start on Tuesday, September 8th in the Stilwell cafeteria. Students will receive an additional snack using social distancing and are welcome to stay until 4:00 pm. After the bell will run each week Monday-Thursday. Parking Lot Protocol

We understand our parking lot drop-off and pick-up process can be time-consuming. However, we need all families to follow the procedures to ensure our students are safe. Please remember these guidelines:

  • Do not use the local business as a place to pick-up your child.
  • Do not drop off your student or stop for any reason along Vine Street.
  • Do not pull into the bus lanes along Vine Street.
  • Do not allow your student to exit the vehicle until you have pulled up to the curb in the parking lot.
  • Please drive slowly through the parking lot and on Vine St.
