Pyramids

Why Did They Choose The Triangle?
The ancient Egyptians probably chose that distinctive form for their tombs because of their solar religion. "The Egyptian sun god Ra, considered the father of all pharaohs, was said to have sat upon a pyramid-shaped mound of earth which had emerged from the primordial sea. The pyramid's shape is thought to have symbolized the sun's rays."
The Builder of The Pyramids
They were not built by slaves. Skeletons were found showing the individuals who built the ancient Egyptian pyramids were Egyptians who stayed in the villages that were developed by supervisors of the pharaoh’s. Many farmers helped build the pyramids as well.

Pyramid Blueprints
The Egyptians used the help of many tools to build the Pyramids. Scholars have found evidence that copper chisels were used for quarrying sandstone and limestone, for example, but harder stones such as granite and diorite would have required stronger materials. Dolerite, a hard, black igneous rock, was used in the quarries of Aswan to remove granite.
Their Famous-ness
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest monument of the Seven Wonders. It was built without power tools and has near perfect proportions. The "Great Pyramid," is several times the mass of Menkaure’s.
