Civil Right Leaders
Malcolm X
was an African American Muslim minister and human rights activist. To his admirers, he was a courageous advocate for the rights of blacks, a man who indicted white America in the harshest terms for its crimes against black Americans. Detractors accused him of preaching racism, black supremacy, and violence. He has been called one of the greatest and most influential African Americans in history.
Rosa Parks
Rosa parks believed in peace around the world. She knew that there was no difference between black people and white people. She also believed that blacks should have the same respect and same rights to live a happy life.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
was an American clergyman, activist, and leader in the African American Civil Right Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil obedience.
Compare and contrast
King is all about nonviolence. All he wants is peace between everyone. But Malcolm X believes in using violence. After his child hood being destroyed by whites, he believes that you need to use fire against fire. Rosa Parks also believed peace, that everyone should have the same respect. These three people were all very popular. A lot of people followed each of them. King was most popular at first, but then people just got tired of getting hurt. So they switched to Malcolm X.
The most effective
To me Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Was the most effective because he had the most followers and was the wisest. Next would be Rosa Parks because peace is better than violence. Lastly it would be Malcolm X.
