CC of Greater Sacramento

Team-Buidling for 2016

Thanksgiving and Supplications

As we enter the new year, it is a time to reflect on the blessings of 2015. Our area has continued to expand as we add communities and programs for families we already know and love. In addition, we anticipate new growth in 2016 to accommodate new families as we strive to fulfill our mission to know God and to make Him known. Let's prepare to welcome those families and bless them with the opportunity to join a community and provide a classical Christian education for their children. It's what we do!

"The Workers are Few, but the Harvest is Plentiful" Matt 9:37

We cannot do this alone. As a community of families currently enrolled in a program, you receive this blessing of community firsthand in your specific location. In turn, we need to look at the greater CC community in the Sacramento area to see how we can serve one another, as well as those who would enjoy these benefits that we receive weekly.

As a team, we can come together and be equipped to serve, just like we do in our church and in our own CC programs.

What does this look like?

1 Peter 4:10 says that each of us should use whatever gifts we have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. As good and faithful stewards, we can each bring value to the great team in our area and serve alongside one another, exhorting and equipping on another.

Be encouraged! There are many ways you can help!

Information Meeting Equipping Event

Wednesday, Feb. 10th, 8pm

This is an online event.

You are cordially invited to attend a meeting to receive the equipping to facilitate an Information Meeting during our 2016 outreach season, which runs through the summer. Other than our Practicum Events, the IM is our primary means of reaching out to our communities so that others can experience the blessing of homeschooling in community with Classical Conversations. Parent Ambassador Teams are being formed in each territory to coordinate our outreach efforts and foster a sense of fun and community. The more the merrier!

Any enrolled member of a CC Community who has a heart to reach out and share the CC experience with families who are seeking educational options for their family.

You will be provided with material, ideas, and guidelines about how to conduct an Information Meeting. We will discuss ways to make the experience uplifting and edifying for you and your attendees.

Wanted: People with Particular Passion!

One of the most fulfilling roles of service is that of the Support Representative. These individuals are the ones who are "on fire" for CC and feel compelled to share their excitement with others and create opportunities for families to join and become involved in their communities. Along the way, the Support Representatives are blessed with a unique opportunity to develop their God-given gifts as CC invests in them with an outpouring of training and personal mentoring. They receive the satisfaction of seeing families, including their own, be blessed with the fruit of their labor as God works in them and through them.

This is a truly special opportunity. Please contact Nancy Dayton at of you are interested.

Get Involved! Join the Team!

We need YOU! In order for our communities to grow to meet the needs of your children, we need to plant the seeds of growth today and nurture them for tomorrow. If these needs are not met, the programs your family needs may cease to exist. It is our great desire to continue to serve you in your area, and to equip you every single step of the way. Please do not hesitate to contact any member of your leadership team with any questions you may have about any of the roles mentioned above:
