Beginner Band News
Practice Records
Weekly practice records are due Monday, March 4th. Beginner Band members are responsible for 60 minutes of practicing each week.
Sight Reading Assignment
Mr. Stuart's beginner classes will continue with another sight-reading assignment this week on sightreadingfactory.com. Students have as many attempts to complete the assignment before they submit their recording to Mr. Stuart.
Dodgeball Game
The dodgeball match has been moved to this Wednesday, March 6th. Beginner band will have a dodgeball game after school. Students that have passed off at least 4 scales from the scale sheet for Mr. Stuart, Ms. Mantle, or Mr. Coleman will be able to participate. Keep practicing to pass off each scale!

Objective Sheet & Dodgeball Game
This is the final week for students to complete the objectives on their pink or purple objective sheet. Once you have completed your paper, please put your name at the top and turn it in to the black mailbox by the band office. Papers are due by Thursday, March 7th.
Each student who completes every goal on their Objective Sheet gets to participate in a dodgeball tournament on this Thursday, March 7th. The tournament will be after school from 4:10pm to 5:10pm in the gym.

Pre-UIL
Symphonic Band will have their first evaluation with judges on March 19th at Clear Springs High School. Students will need to wear their official band uniform for this performance. Ms. Mantle will send out an event letter this week.

Mr. McDonald Clinic
The Wind Ensemble will have our next clinic with Mr. McDonald on Thursday, March 7th at 7:00 A.M. Plan to show up around 6:30 A.M. for DONUTS!!!
Practice Records
Practice records are due Tuesday, March 5th. Wind Ensemble members are responsible for 180 minutes of practicing each week.

Ensemble Rehearsal
Each section is responsible for a 30 minute rehearsal that is lead by their section leader. Sections are able to rehearse before school, during advisory, lunch, or after school. Once completed, the section leader will fill out the ensemble rehearsal form and will turn the form in to Mr. Stuart.
