Washington Early Learning Center
The Washington Eagles
Week of September 7th-September 11th, 2015
From the Eagle's Nest!
Dear Families,
What a great first week of school! Although we had many new things happening, I am happy to report that things moved as smoothly as could be! Our children did a fantastic job learning new routines for school!
Our pick-up and drop-off procedures for parents and buses took a little bit more time then they normally will, but it was needed in order to make sure everyone got where they needed to be! Thank you all for your patience!
We will be making a slight change to our PICK-UP procedures. Please read below for our new procedures which will start on Wednesday, September 9.
Have a wonderful week!
Thanks,
Mrs. Nelson
Please mark your calendars!

NEW Pick-Up Procedures for 4K students!
DOOR #5 (door near the playground on Franklin Ave.) will be for the dismissal of
Mrs. Miller's and Mrs. Martine's classes. These doors will be opened up by the teachers at 11:00/2:45 dismissal. As you approach the door, your child's teacher will call for your child and have them come out of the door to meet you. Mrs. Miller's class will be dismissed from the right door and Mrs. Martine's class will be dismissed from the left door (as you look at the doors).
DOOR #1 (door near the office on Franklin Ave.) will be for the dismissal of
Mrs. Baumler's and Mrs. Hall's classes. These doors will be opened up by the teachers at 11:00/2:45 dismissal. As you approach the door, your child's teacher will call for your child and have them come out of the door to meet you. Mrs. Baumler's class will be dismissed from the right door and Mrs. Hall's class will be dismissed from the left door (as you look at the doors).
Parents that need to visit the office can let the teacher know as they get to the door or they can come early and buzz in at the door off of the parking lot.
Early Childhood Special Education and Preschool Phonology students will continue to be dismissed from the main hallway. Please proceed through the doors off of the parking lot.
We will also continue to take our bus students out of the doors by the parking lot.
Thank you for your assistance as we continue to find the best ways to manage our arrival/dismissal procedures.
