World's Finest Chocolate Sale Information
Thank you, Holy Family, for all of your hard work selling WFC candy during our World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser. It is time to begin bringing the 2020 candy sale to a close.
Please turn in your sale money and any unsold candy this Monday, February 10th, if you have yet to do so. Please make sure all money and unsold candy is clearly labeled with your student's name.
Our goal is always to sell what we ordered. We do have some candy remaining. If you are still interested in continuing to help sell the remaining candy, we appreciate your help. You can send re-fill requests on the request form or via email.
Thank you again for your efforts. The 50% profit from this fundraiser goes directly into projects at our Holy Family Schools.
Thank you for your support of our Holy Family Schools

Parent Association "Wishing Snowman"
The Parent Association would like to provide a "Thank you" to our staff. We have a "Wishing Snowman" hanging in the buildings. On the snowflakes are names of our staff and their wish items. Families are encouraged to select a snowflake, purchase the item and return it to the staff member by February 14th.
*There are still quite a few snowflakes left at both schools -
LaSalle: they are hanging by the snowman right outside of the office!
St. Jude: they are hanging by the snowman in the entryway!
Thank you!
Holy Family Sock Hop
It’s Sock Hop time!!!!! Gals….dust off the old saddle shoes and get those skirts fluffed and ready. Guys, get the black leather jackets ready and hair slicked back. The annual Holy Family PA Sock Hop is here to stay! Come join us for food, catching up with friends and fun next Friday, February 14th, VALENTINE’S DAY! That is just one week away….. Ticket’s are just $3.00 per student, adults are free. Where else can you have this much fun with your favorite little valentines for just $3.00 per student?
The following is just an idea of what you can expect this year:
Dance the night away to some amazing music by Holy Family’s own Nick Ireland. The infamous Hula Hoop contest will make it’s return again this year (Is this your year?). There will be random door prizes, areas to take group pictures and selfies, including fun “50’s Sock hop accessories” for your selfie pictures. Don’t forget to drive on up to Holy Family’s Sock Hop Diner for some food and beverages to help fuel that energy you will need for dancing. We encourage everyone to wear their 50’s Sock Hop attire. However, 50’s attire is not necessary to join in on the fun. **Please keep the school’s Christian modesty and dress code policy in mind when choosing outfits for the dance.** Tickets will be purchased at the door and used as your child’s entry to win door prizes. (Names will be drawn throughout the night.) Doors open at 5:30 pm. Music from 6-8 pm. Be there or be square!
Parents;
If you are going to be there and would like to help where is needed, please take a look at the sign up genius: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0f4aacae2da4f85-sock1
You could even stay behind after to help make clean up easier on all involved. Remember….many hands make light work! If there are any questions, please feel free to e-mail Jessie Goodell, LaSalle PA rep, at jrgoodell5@gmail.com
Holy Family Scrip News
Valentine's Day is next week! Plan ahead and place your order for Scip for taking your special one out for a meal or 1-800 flowers offers a 10% rebate for ScripNow! A few local places are the Ced-Rel Supper Club, American Skillet, 16th Ave. Grill, Roscoe's Pizza, Scott's Family Restaurant, Tommy's West, Zoey's Pizza and Zio Johno's. You can go online to explore all of your options.
How about a daily cup of coffee? Using Starbucks as an example: If you spend $5 on a drink 5 days a week for a year and pay with a Scrip Starbucks card you could earn about $45 for you and $45 for the school, just for switching how you pay. They have a reloadable option as well as ScipNow! which is an egift card and you can link them to your account.
Lastly, we had an email notice that we earned an extra $13 from Kwik Star from those who have purchased scrip cards and made an in-store purchase with them. We don't have very many who order from there but, if more people did, we could earn a bigger bonus! It is a 10% bonus that we receive quarterly.
Next orders are Monday, Feb. 10 and Feb. 24
Remaining order dates for this year: Feb, 10, Feb 24, Mar. 2, Mar. 30, Apr. 20, May 4, May 18
