September 2012
International Dot Day!
Every year on September 15, educators around the world celebrate International Dot Day by making time to encourage their students’ creativity. This year, we're celebrating all week long, September 11-14, in the RMHS Library. Classes will listen to the story The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds and then be encouraged to discuss and create while in the library. Some classes will have the opportunity to connect with other classes via Skype! We'll also check out the new celebrity dots gallery at www.celebridots.com.
"Make your mark and see where it leads you!"
Post-It Note Art
Last school year, we began decorating our many library windows with post-it notes to create tributes to some of our favorite video games. April featured Angry Birds...May featured Mario Brothers. Our September project has begun and will feature Mrs. Pac Man, a few favorite ghosts, as well as a few surprises!
