VISIT FROM THE FIRST LADY OF NJ

The First Lady of New Jersey, Tammy Murphy, visited Alder on Thursday, September 26. She got a tour and an education on all the things The Catawbra Project has been doing this year, and their plan for the future.

6th Grade students got to participate in the "Artifact or Not?" learning experience. This lesson was funded by a grant, and allowed students to examine items and determine if they were an artifact or a fossil.

#EHTPride Festival

Athletics/Activities

Fall Sports kicked off their seasons this week!


The field hockey team opened their season with a tie against Buena. The score was 1-1. Madison Summer scored the only goal for the team and Angelina Petracci assisted. The team also played against Fernwood on Thursday and lost 0-2. Next week the girls will face Millville at home on Wednesday @ 4PM.


On Wednesday, the Girls Soccer team defeated Buena by a score of 6-0. Sabrina Little scored a goal, Angelina Horin scored twice, and Aniayah Parker scored 3 goals. Playing great defense were Lily Winkler and Isabella DeCosta. Good luck girls in your next game on Friday at Fernwood!


On Friday, the Cross Country team took on Hammonton. Despite outstanding performances, Alder came up just 3 points short. They look to bounce back next week. Keep it up, team!
