FHS Online Academy: End of Semester Reminders
End of Semester 1:
January 26 is the target completion date for coursework on Edgenuity. Students should work with their Mentor Teachers and Content Specialists to finish up strong in each of their courses. January 28 and 29 are days for students to retake assessments and work with their teachers to improve their grades. If parents or students have any questions about school work or grades, please contact your Mentor Teacher; they have the most current and detailed information.
Planning for Semester 2:
In January, students will work with their mentor teachers to register for their courses for Semester 2. After discussing possibilities with their mentors, students will have a Google Form to fill out. Their required courses will be listed followed by the electives they can choose from. We will also supply a short description for each elective course. We will start the course request process on January 7 and need the course request google forms submitted by Friday, January 15. If you have any questions, please contact your mentor teacher or Chandra Hanke at hanke@isd14.org.
