Charlie Chaplin was one of the most original creators in the history of the cinema.He was a actor,director,and writer.Chaplin began his acting at age 8.He traveled to the U.S. in 1910 to tour A Night In The English Hall, and was chosen to appear in the Keystone series. He appeared in over 30 short films after this.In 1918 Chaplin built his own studio and singed a $1,000,000 contract with National films and produced many silent films. He mostly made comedy films. Some of his famous silent films are A Dogs Life, Shoulder Arms,And The Kid.He is most famous for his film The Tramp. Charlie Chaplin was known for his innovative film-making techniques, although he kept tight-lipped about how he achieved them. He said that revealing his methods would be akin to a magician spoiling his own illusion.
