A Message from Ms. Colon
Dear Mary Williams Families:
What a wonderful week this has been. Students have been involved in performing acts of kindness and celebrating friendships. It is very rewarding to see how our community of learners has embraced our weekly kindness' challenges. Thank you for your support.
Our annual spelling bee was a success! I am amazed at the student's hard work. Your support in making sure they were prepared was evident. We could have not done it without you.
Looking forward we have a lot of activities planned for our students and our community. Digital Learning Day, Read Aloud Day, and 100th Day of school are coming up. Continue to check our social media pages and webpage for additional details.
Proud to be your leader,
Ms. Colon

Attendance Matters
State Assessments are around the corner, and with that comes intensive preparation for our students. Our teachers are working hard to plan and provide students with learning experiences that cannot be achieved if they are absent. We ask that you ensure your student is in school everyday and limit trips to Spring Break if possible. Below are important dates:
March 14-18- SOL released test (predictor for students in grades 3-5) Reading
March 28-April 1- Benchmark Assessment for students in grades K-2-Reading
April 11-15- 3rd Quarter Writing Assessment for all grades
May- PALS testing for grades K-3
May 9-June 15- SOL's take place
