Note About Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Please note that while we understand that this is a special occasion, we will not be able to accept deliveries of flowers, balloons or the like to celebrate the occasion at school. Deliveries of such items are highly discouraged as they tend to be a distraction to school activities and are not transportable on our buses. Valentine's Day deliveries to students will be returned. Gift exchanges are also highly discouraged as they too result in major distractions throughout the day. Please save such things for after school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Be on the Lookout for These
As more states legalize recreational marijuana and interest in it grows, THC-infused products are gaining in popularity, particularly edibles.
And now, illicit suppliers have begun coopting legitimate brand names and identities to sell candy, snacks and cereal laced with THC.
Please be on the lookout for the pictured items below.
Today, Have You...
- Touched your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands?
- Prepared or eaten food and drinks with unwashed hands?
- Touched surfaces or objects that have germs on them?
- Blown your nose, coughed, or sneezed into your hands and then touch other people’s hands or common objects?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you may have exposed yourself to germs that make you sick. Handwashing is one of the best ways to protect yourself and your family from a variety of illnesses, such as colds, flu, Covid, and Strep, vomiting, and diarrhea, all of which are present in our community.
Handwashing is easy and inexpensive and it takes as little as 20 seconds. Simply scrub your hands with soap and water. Is no soap available? Use hand sanitizer until you can access soap and water.
Please protect yourself and others - wash your hands.
