Davisburg Dateline
November 4, 2016
Mrs. Kott's Korner
Things have been busy here at Davisburg Elementary! An amazing time was had by all at the Davisburg Fall Festival. It was wonderful to see so many families and to participate in my first raffle award winner celebration! Thank you to the PTC, volunteers and sponsors! On Monday, we had a fun Halloween with parties, crafts and the Monster Mash-a-Thon. There sure were some amazing costumes!
Today we had an assembly about being a “Bucket Filler.” The “Bucket Filler” concept is that we all carry an invisible bucket where we keep our good thoughts and feelings. When our buckets are full, we are happy; when they are empty, we are sad. We can fill our own bucket and so can others. "Bucket Fillers" are those who help without being asked, give compliments, and generally spread good feelings to others. There will be more information about this school-wide focus soon! Please ask your child about being a “Bucket Filler.”
As always, thank you for being part of the Davisburg Learning Community!
