Mondorry

About it...

Mondorry is the national dish of our nation (Mondorra Islands). It is a chicken style curry that is cooked using the wood of the Island's palm trees and drift would. The chicken is smoked along with the vegetables then put into a tropical vegetable puree that is heated over a fire. One it has been cooked rice is added and stirred in; however its not just rice, it is chili spiced rice that has been rinsed and colored by the chili itself. This means that all of it's colors and flavors are all natural!


Traditionally it is surved in a coconut shell or pineapple (with the flesh removed) and surved with a class of coconut milk or tropical juice... A creme fraiche sort of substance is offered if you're not too keen on spice.
