Gardens' Greetings
December 2018
What are your treasures?
Dear Parents, Community, and Friends,
As we enter December and close November, the holiday season is upon us. Along with that comes a high level of excitement for all! I hope the parent teacher conferences proved helpful in gaining insight into your child’s performance at our school. Thank you for taking the time to attend the meetings with the teachers and for bringing your questions and concerns.
I would like to thank the P.T.O. for their very generous donations for our staff. Teachers wrote individual grants for their classroom or teams and the PTO generously accepted and paid for the grants. Grants ranged from flexible seating for the room and students to a literacy grant for tablets that the students can check out of our library and work on literacy and math apps at home. In addition to the grants, the PTO sponsored our faculty night dinner and of course organized our wonderful feast. We are truly grateful. And of course the best news is that the Gaga Pit, funded also by the PTO has been ordered and the students are anxiously looking forward to this addition to our school. Stay tuned....
Take time to slow down and enjoy the wonderful and joyous spirit of our little ones in this time that can be filled with commitments and stress. I sincerely wish all of you a joyful and peaceful Holiday and a Happy New Year! We look forward to 2019 with you and your children.
~Mrs. Binford

Dear Parents/Guardians,
The children who participated in this Halloween’s Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF “tradition” deserve much praise. The evening of hard work they did trick-or-treating for UNICEF will help provide clean water, medical attention, nutrition, education, and protection to children in poor, war ravaged, and/or natural disaster who count on UNICEF to have their basic needs met . The total contribution sent was $611.20! Job Well Done UNICEF Trick-or-Treaters and Pumpkin Decorators of Bradley Gardens School! Thank you to BGS parents and children for “making Halloween count” again this year, as you have for the past many years!
Fondly,
Nancy M. Ambrose
