Caesar's Been Killed!
Caesar led his army across the Rubicon in 49 BC. This started a civil war with caesar and the Romans. With caesar's large army he defeated Rome and declared himself the dictator of Rome. One February morning he was about to go to a meeting with the senate. All of his friends tried to warn him from the rumors they had heard. His trusted friend Brutus persuaded him to go. Later that day On the way to the meeting caesar was stabbed and killed by 60 members of the senate. He died on February 44 BC.

They fight in a very big arena called the colosseum. The colosseum was built on 780 BC. The estimated capacity was between 40,000 and 60,000 people. When the gladiators would fight they were separated by the types of armor they wore. Some highly skilled gladiators made a lot of money from fighting with wooden swords.
